La Concha is a quarterly web magazine of American Pilgrims on the Camino. Each issue focuses on a theme and includes, pilgrim stories, poetry, reflections, and photographic images/artwork. It’s a place for members to share their Camino insights, and gain wisdom and a better understanding of their own pilgrim experiences.
Amy Horton is the magazine’s current editor. Amy has discovered that the work has provided a real sense of purpose for what she’s truly passionate about; one that she longed to find in her roles in the corporate world but didn’t.
The role, combining Amy’s caring nature, love of the Camino, magical powers with wordsmithing, and her desire to bridge communication between speaker and listener, provides Amy with much joy and it has become a real gift in her life.
As a result of some recent life changes, this May-June, Amy had the opportunity to walk the Camino Francés. We are so touched to welcome Amy as our Special Guest on August 15 to share with us:
